L2 Earring
Designed in 2017, the L2 Earring is one of the most iconic pieces within the JXTX archive. Its design originates from a minimal gesture: a square wire bar measuring 2.5 × 2.5 mm and 20 mm in length—an earring reduced to its essence to create an object that is clean, solid, and distinctly contemporary.
Versatility lies at the core of its identity. The L2 can be worn in two ways:
• Suspended vertically, as a straight line that frames the face with a bold, precise stroke.
• Positioned diagonally, resting along the edge of the ear between the post and the body of the earring, creating a graphic composition across the ear.
This dual functionality transforms it into a dynamic accessory, capable of shifting its gesture according to the wearer’s intention. The L2 synthesizes the brand’s geometric and austere aesthetic, becoming a minimal sculpture designed for everyday wear.
Each piece is handcrafted in Mexico City using recycled .925 sterling silver, with precise finishes that reflect both craftsmanship and JXTX’s sculptural sensibility.
